A FOX AND A CROW

A fox was one day walking under a large tree. He looked up and saw a crow sitting on a branch with a piece of cheese in her bill.
"I want to eat that piece of cheese," said the fox to himself. Then he began to praise the crow.
"Oh! Miss crow, how beautiful you are! What a lovely figure you have! People say you are black, but I say you are white. How I like to hear you sing, if you can sing for me now?"
The silly crow was very much pleased, and she began to sing, Caw, Caw!" as soon as she opened her bill, down fell the cheese. The fox picked up the cheese, and ran away to enjoy it.
